Building an extension, converting a garage, or working on a new build? We construct new pitched and flat roofs from the timbers up, working alongside your builder or directly with you.
New roofing work we take on
- New pitched roofs for extensions and new builds
- New flat roofs for extensions, garages and porches
- Roofs for garden buildings and outbuildings
- Dormers and roof alterations as part of conversions
- Tiling, slating, membranes, leadwork and rainwater goods
Why the roof is not the place to economise
Everything under the roof depends on it. Correct falls on a flat roof, correct laps and ventilation on a pitched roof, properly dressed leadwork where roof meets wall — these details decide whether a roof lasts decades or leaks within a few winters. We build them right the first time.
Common questions about new roofs
Can you work with my builder?
Yes — we regularly carry out the roofing package on builds run by other trades, and we can coordinate timing with them directly.
Which is better for an extension: flat or pitched?
It depends on the design, planning constraints and budget. Pitched roofs generally last longer; modern flat systems are excellent when a pitched roof is not practical. We will talk you through both.
What materials do you use?
Whatever the job genuinely needs — concrete or clay tiles, natural or man-made slate, and modern flat roofing systems. Material options and their costs are set out in your quotation.
